St. Barnabas Patch Program
Your troop can earn a special patch while learning the value of community service.
Earning a patch is simple: Your troop participates in three volunteer activities between October and May.
There are many activities troops may choose to lead. You may also be creative and develop your own activity with the guidance of one of our experienced activity coordinators. Troops can volunteer at any of our three facilities: St. Barnabas Nursing Home in Richland Township; or Valencia Woods and The Arbors at St. Barnabas, both in Valencia.
Over the years, more than 100 troops that have participated in the St. Barnabas Patch Program. Troop leaders report that this is a very rewarding program. At the end of the school year, Scouts who participate in three visits will be awarded the patch to display on their uniforms.
