About St. Barnabas
St. Barnabas Health System completed it 107th years of health care service to the
Western Pennsylvania community in 2007. As a non-profit, charitable, faith-based
organization, St. Barnabas is mission-driven to provide for the physical, social and spiritual
well-being of the elderly as well as the sick, injured and terminally ill of all ages, regardless of their
ability to pay for their care. To fulfill this promise, St. Barnabas operates campuses in Richland
Township, Allegheny County, and Valencia Borough, Butler County.
Ranked the second largest elder-care provider by the Pittsburgh Business Times, St. Barnabas is the largest
health care concern of its kind in Pennsylvania.
