1,392 Butler County Long-Term Care Residents to Have Holidays Made Merrier Through PRESENTS FOR PATIENTS®
GIBSONIA, Pa. (Richland Twp.), Nov. 28, 2005 - 1,392 residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and personal care homes in Butler County will have the holidays made merrier for them through PRESENTS FOR PATIENTS®. The residents live in the 19 nursing homes, assisted living facilities and personal care homes that have enrolled their residents in the PRESENTS FOR PATIENTS® program to ensure each will receive a holiday gift and visit this year.
Representatives from each of the facilities have completed the necessary training required and have let the local PRESENTS FOR PATIENTS® headquarters know of their residents' Christmas wishes. PRESENTS FOR PATIENTS® is coordinated locally by St. Barnabas Charities, 5850 Meridian Road, Gibsonia.
The Butler County long-term care residents are among the 22,275 residents at 260 facilities across four states - Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and West Virginia - participating in the program. This holiday season, community are asked to "adopt" the residents by agreeing to personally deliver a small gift to them. To get involved, interested individuals, families, businesses and civic groups are encouraged to contact their local long-term care facility or the PRESENTS FOR PATIENTS® headquarters at 724-443-0011. Information and sign-ups are available online at www.PRESENTSFORPATIENTS.com.
