George Mistovich Hired as New Director of Dental Medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center


Gibsonia, Pa. - March 5, 2007 - George Mistovich Jr., DMD, is the new Director of Dental Medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center. Mistovich will be responsible for treating the practice's patient caseload and overseeing the office's prosthodontist, periodontist, hygienists, technicians and administrative staff. Mistovich's office performs customary dental work such as examinations, cleanings, fillings and extractions as well as specialty care such as dentures, partials and cosmetic dentistry.

Appointments with Mistovich are available by calling 724-444-4727. Mistovich's offices are located on the second floor of St. Barnabas Medical Center, 5830 Meridian Road, Gibsonia. The Department of Dental Medicine is one component of St. Barnabas Medical Center, which is open to the public as well as St. Barnabas residents. A valuable resource to the surrounding community, the Medical Center has practitioners who provide general medicine, audiology, cardiology, podiatry, chiropractic, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, lab services and X-rays.

Mistovich has 19 years' experience as a dentist, having graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1988. He has been affiliated with Brodhead Dental since 1988, including owning the practice for five years. Since 1989, Mistovich has been the school dentist for Aliquippa School District. He is also the school dentist for Seneca Valley School District. Mistovich earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology in 1984 from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1980. He is active with the Beaver Valley Dental Society, having served as its treasurer, vice president and president.
