The Fabulous Hubcaps to Perform at Kean Theatre
Concert is part of Summer of Fun Oldies series
Gibsonia, Pa. - June 16, 2005 - One of the nation's most sought after oldies bands,
The Fabulous Hubcaps, will appear in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 9 at the Kean Theatre,
5847 Meridian Road. Tickets are $39 for general admission or $45 for Director's Circle seating. Tickets are available by calling (724) 444-KEAN (5326) or by visiting www.keantheatre.com. Proceeds benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund.
The Hubcaps consist of seven lead vocalists who are proficient on a number of instruments.
The band's self-contained act includes lights, costumes and a high-energy mix of tunes that
will take you back to the days of duck tails, white t-shirts, and rock-n-roll. The Hubcaps
make audiences come alive performing medleys by artists such as Little Richard, James Brown,
The Beach Boys, Bo Diddley, Freddie Cannon, The Marcels, The Drifters, The Coasters and Elvis.
To keep in tune with the band's '50s repertoire, the audience is invited to wear poodle skirts,
bobby sox, and rolled-up jeans. With just 350 seats, all audience members have a good view of
the performance.

on June 18; Jimmy Beaumont & The Skyliners on June 25; The Fabulous Hubcaps on July 9; Johnny
