Committee Announced For St. Barnabas Golf Open
Event will raise funds for St. Barnabas Charities
Gibsonia, Pa. - May 12, 2006 - The planning committee for the 19th annual St. Barnabas Charitable Golf Open has been announced. The committee members are:

The Golf Open will be Monday, June 5 at Butler Country Club. Title co-sponsors are C.U.E. Inc. and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. The morning field will begin with a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. and includes a continental breakfast and gourmet lunch. The afternoon field tees off at 12:45 p.m. and includes a buffet lunch. The cost to golf in either field is $375 and includes 18 holes of golf, use of carts, course beverages, unlimited range balls, a cocktail reception and awards dinner.
Bob Bruce of WPXI-TV will serve as master of ceremonies. Other activities include a silent auction featuring approximately 50 packages of prizes such as sports memorabilia, framed artwork and home entertainment equipment. A live auction following dinner will feature items autographed by former Pittsburgh Steeler Rocky Bleier. Bleier will be the Golf Open's celebrity golfer. His appearance is sponsored by Bayer Polymers LLC.
