Committee Announced for St. Barnabas Charities' Fashion Gala

Gibsonia, Pa. - June 30, 2008 - St. Barnabas Charities will host its annual fashion gala on Saturday, Oct. 18 at The Washington Place and the Kean Theatre, 5847 Meridian Road. Following the theme "A Chocolate Affair," guests will be treated to gourmet chocolate desserts, unique shopping, music by the Donna Bailey Jazz Quartet, a formal wear resale, basket raffle and a fashion show featuring local celebrities. Doors open at 1 p.m. The volunteer committee organizing "A Chocolate Affair" includes:

Proceeds will benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund, which in 2007 provided $5.6 million to patients at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas and The Arbors at St. Barnabas who otherwise would not be able to afford their care.
