"Crimes of the Heart" is the heart-warming story of the three Magrath sisters with very different personalities and lives who reunite at Old Granddaddy's home in Mississippi when the youngest of them, Babe (LeWay), has just shot her husband. The oldest sister, Lenny (Vila-Roger), takes care of their grandfather and is turning into an old maid, while Meg (Scannell), who tries to make it in Hollywood as a singer/actress, has had a wild life. Their reunion causes much joy, but also many tensions.

The cast also includes Heidi Nicholas as Chick Boyle; David Dietz plays Barnette Lloyd; and J.P. Patrick as Doc Porter. "Crimes of the Heart" is directed by Tom Madden, managing director of the Kean Theatre.

The Kean Theatre is open to the public and has built a reputation for its convenient location, free parking, quality entertainment and elegant setting. The theatre is operated by St. Barnabas Charities, the fund-raising arm of St. Barnabas Health System. St. Barnabas Health System includes St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas, The Arbors at St. Barnabas, The Village at St. Barnabas, The Woodlands at St. Barnabas, The Washington Place at St. Barnabas, and St. Barnabas Medical Center.
