St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference Partners with Smart Business Pittsburgh
Gibsonia, Pa. - July 7, 2008 - Nominations are being sought for Smart Business Pittsburgh magazine's annual Pacesetters Awards, which will be presented at the 22nd annual St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference on Monday, Sept. 22 at The Washington Place at St. Barnabas, 5847 Meridian Road.
The Pacesetters awards recognize business leaders in the greater Pittsburgh area who are setting the pace for the region. Leaders will be recognized in three divisions, based on the size of their organizations and/or rate of growth.
Emerging - Organizations with less than $30 million in annual revenue and a double-digit annual growth rate
Mid-market - Organizations with between $30 million and $100 million in annual revenue
Large - Organizations with annual revenue in excess of $100 million.
Three finalists in each of the categories will be named in July 2008, with one overall winner in each category being named at the St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference. Coverage of all nine Pacesetters will be published in the October 2008 edition of Smart Business Pittsburgh. Nominations are being accepted until July 18. Following the theme "STAT: Standing Together Against Taxes," the St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference is open by invitation to area CEOs and their seconds-in-command. The day will begin at 7 a.m. with a light breakfast. The conference will convene at 8 a.m. in the Kean Theatre, located inside The Washington Place. The Pittsburgh Pacesetters awards will be presented at the culmination of the conference, prior to an 11:45 a.m. luncheon. The conference is complimentary. An optional second half of the day is the 4th annual Leading the Links Golf Open, which benefits the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund.
