A second day of movies has been added to the Kean Theatre's weekly schedule, at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Wednesdays@1 gives audiences a second chance to enjoy Hollywood's newest releases on the big screen every week.

Admission to the films is free.

JULY

July 28 – “Brothers” (R)
Natalie Portman and Tobey Maguire star in this drama about a young man who comforts his older brother's wife and children after he goes missing in Afghanistan. 106 minutes.


AUGUST

Aug. 4 – "Toy Story" (G)
In the original tale from 1995, a toy cowboy becomes jealous when a fancy spaceman toy replaces him as a boy's favorite.

Aug. 11 – "Avatar" (PG-13)
James Cameron's epic is set in the future. A paraplegic war veteran is brought to a planet inhabited by a humanoid race with their own language and culture. 162 minutes.

Aug. 18 – “The Young Victoria” (PG)
This Oscar-winning film looks at the turbulent first years of Queen Victoria's rule and her enduring romance with Prince Albert. 105 minutes.

Aug. 25 – “Nine” (PG-13)
Rob Marshall directs this musical extravaganza of a famous film director who confronts a mid-life crisis. 118 minutes.
