St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference

The 22nd Annual St. Barnabas CEO Leadership Conference will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at the Kean Theatre at The Washington Place at St. Barnabas. The theme for the 2008 forum is "STAT - Standing Together Against Taxes" where a panel of national and regional speakers will gather to address Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania's tax structure and economic well being. Culminating the Conference will be the awarding of Smart Business Pittsburgh magazine's Pacesetters Awards. The awards recognize outstanding business leaders who have had a significant impact on our community. Three finalists will be named in each category: Emerging (less $30 million annual revenue and a double-digit annual growth rate), Mid-market ($30 million to $100 million annual revenue) and Large ($100 million+ annual revenue). Then one overall winner will be announced from the stage. Nominations for The Pacesetters Awards are now being accepted through July 18, 2008. 2008 Pacesetters Nomination Form.

Deemed as one of the region's most prestigious events of its kind, this half-day conference serves to provide top executives with strategic networking opportunities. The conference commences at 7 a.m. with registration and a light breakfast with the panel discussion at 8 a.m.

An optional segment to the conference is the fourth annual Leading the Links Golf Open at nearby Butler Country Club immediately following the forum. Lunch will be served at Butler Country Club with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost is $350. To sign up for the golf segment complete the golf online registration form.

David Johnson, WPXI-TV Anchor will serve as conference moderator and James C. Roddey, Former Chief Executive, Allegheny County will be the panel moderator.
